Carl Demrow
Carl Demrow (Democratic Party) was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Orange-1 District. He assumed office on January 4, 2023. He left office on January 8, 2025.
Demrow (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Vermont House of Representatives to represent Orange-1 District. He lost in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Carl Demrow was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and has lived in Corinth, Vermont. Demrow earned a B.A. in human services from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1987. His career experience includes teaching high school English, working as a middle manager at a nonprofit in northern New Hampshire, starting a trail management and consulting business, and working as a partner in a trail construction company. Demrow volunteered as a firefighter in Jackson, Vermont, and joined the boards of the Jackson Firefighters Association, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, and the Waterman Fund. Demrow also co-founded Orange County Headwaters.[1]
