Carl Eskridge
Carl Eskridge was a member of the Lincoln City Council in Nebraska, representing District 4. He was first elected in 2011.[1] He did not seek re-election in 2019.
Although municipal positions in Lincoln are officially nonpartisan, Eskridge was affiliated with the Democratic Party in the 2015 election.
Biography
Eskridge obtained a B.A. in business administration from St. Andrews Presbyterian College, an M.Div. from the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, a D.Div. from the San Francisco Theological Seminary and a J.D. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. When he served on the city council, his professional experience included working as a deputy ombudsman for State of Nebraska Office of Public Counsel.[1]
Elections
2015
The city of Lincoln, Nebraska, held elections for city council on May 5, 2015. A primary election took place on April 7, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was March 6, 2015. Four of the seven city council seats were up for election.[2] In the primary election for District 4, incumbent Carl Eskridge and Mairead Safranek faced no challengers.[3] Eskridge defeated Safranek in the general election on May 5.[4][5]
