Robinson (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the El Paso County Commission TX to represent Precinct 4 in Texas. He lost in the Democratic primary runoff on May 24, 2022.

Robinson was a member of the El Paso City Council in Texas, representing District 4 from 2009 to 2017. He was not eligible to run for re-election in 2017 due to term limits.
