Carl Solano
Carl A. Solano was a judge on the Pennsylvania Superior Court. He was appointed to this court by Gov. Tom Wolf (D) to succeed Cheryl Lynn Allen, who retired from the bench on September 4, 2015. His appointment was confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Senate on June 27, 2016.[1]
Judge Solano did not file to stand for partisan election in 2017 in order to remain on the superior court bench. His term expired on December 31, 2017.
Education
Solano received his bachelor's degree from the University of Scranton in 1973 and his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1976.[2]
Career
Before his appointment to the Superior Court, Judge Solano was a partner at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP.[2]
