Carl Von Epps
Carl Von Epps is a former Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 132 from 1993 to 2015. Von Epps did not seek re-election in 2014.
Biography
Von Epps' professional experience includes working as a business consultant, in retail sales, as a teacher, and as a pastor at Smith Chapel United Methodist Church.[1]

Von Epps ran in the 2012 election for Georgia House of Representatives District 132. Von Epps ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on July 31, 2012. Gene King ran unopposed in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[2] Von Epps ran unopposed in the general election.[3]

2010
Epps ran for re-election to the 128th District seat in 2010. He did not have any opposition in the July 20 primary and no one ran against him in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]

2008
In 2008 Epps was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 128. Epps (D) finished with 9,934 votes while his opponent Gene King (R) finished with 7,177 votes.[5] Epps raised $23,530 for his campaign fund.[6]

Von Epps is a member of the Chattahoochee Boy Scout Council, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, Roosevelt Warm Springs Rehabilitation Foundation, Troup County Board of Health Board, Troup Read and Troup County Communities and Schools, United Way West Georgia Board and the West Georgia Emergency Medical Services Council.[1]
