Carla J. Alessio-Policandriotes was a judge of the Twelfth Circuit Court in Illinois. She was first elected in 2002 and retired from the bench effective August 3, 2018.[1]

Prior to her election as a circuit judge, Alessio-Policandriotes was an associate judge for the Twelfth Circuit. She was appointed to that position by the Illinois Supreme Court in May 2001.[2]

Alessio-Policandriotes earned an undergraduate degree from Lewis University and a J.D. from John Marshall Law School. Her professional experience includes work as a county assistant public defender and an attorney in private practice.[2]

2014

Alessio-Policandriotes was retained to the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court with 70.2 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3] 

Evaluations

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Alessio-Policandriotes as Recommended for retention in a 2014 poll.[4]
