I am a graduate of Scotlandville Magnet High School and Southern University and A&M College. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership - Administration and Supervision. I am currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Southeastern Louisiana.
I currently serve as the President-Elect of the Louisiana Council for the Social Studies (LCSS) and a member of the Board of Directors for the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS). I teach high school Social Studies at East Iberville High School in St. Gabriel, Louisiana. I am noted as a Mentor Teacher and Aspiring Leader in Iberville Parish Schools while also serving as a Social Studies Teacher Leader Advisor for the Louisiana Department of Education
