Carlisle McLean
Carlisle Tuggey McLean is a former member of the Maine Public Utilities Commission. McLean was appointed to the commission in January 2015 to fulfill the remainder of former Commissioner Thomas Welch's term, who retired in December 2014. She resigned on June 30, 2017.[1]
Biography
Prior to her appointment on the commission, McLean served as the chief legal counsel and senior natural resources policy advisor to Maine Governor Paul LePage. From 2005 to 2011, she was a lawyer at Preti Flaherty, practicing environmental, land use, and climate strategy law. McLean also worked at the Yale Center for Environmental Policy and the New York State Office of the Attorney General. She became a member of the Maine and American Bar Associations in 2005.[2]
