Carlo Basile
Carlo Basile is a former Democratic member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the First Suffolk district from 2007 to 2015. Basile submitted his resignation at the start of a new term on January 7, 2015, in order to serve as chief secretary for Gov. Charlie Baker (R).[1][2]
Biography
Basile's professional experience includes working as the Chief of Staff of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles in 2002.[3]

2014
Elections for the Massachusetts House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on September 9, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Carlo Basile was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Basile defeated unenrolled candidate Celeste Ribeiro Myers in the general election.[4]
2012
Basile won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts House of Representatives First Suffolk District. Basile was unopposed in the September 6 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
2010
Basile won re-election to the First Suffolk seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14 primary. He also faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[7]
