Carlos Cardoso
Carlos Cardoso was a candidate for the District C seat on the Washoe County Board of Trustees in Nevada. He lost in the primary election against incumbent Barbara Clark and challenger Nick Smith in the June 10, 2014.
Biography
Cardoso earned his B.S. in safety engineering from Kennedy Western University in 2005. He has been an EHS manager with Sherwin Williams since 2006.[1]

Incumbent John R. Mayer ran unopposed for the District B seat in the general election on November 4, 2014. Barbara Clark sought re-election to the District C seat against Nick Smith. Jim Shaw and Veronica Frenkel competed for the District F seat held by Estela Gutierrez.
While Mayer was returned to his seat by default, incumbent Clark was defeated by challenger Smith and Frenkel narrowly defeated Shaw.
