A Carmel-by-the-Sea Sales Tax Increase, Measure D ballot question was on the November 6, 2012, ballot for voters in the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea (often referred to just as "Carmel") in Monterey County, where it was approved.
Measure D increased the sales tax levied by Carmel-by-the-Sea by 1% for ten years.
A simple majority vote was required for approval.
