Three seats on the Carmel Clay School Board were up for general election on November 4, 2014.

All three candidates ran unopposed and won their seats. The candidates were District 1 board member Layla N. Spanenberg, District 2 incumbent Pamela S. Knowles and District 3 newcomer Mike Kerschner. District 3 board member Gregory Phillips did not file for re-election.

Carmel Clay Schools is located in Hamilton County, Indiana. The county seat is Noblesville. Hamilton County is home to 296,693 residents, according to the United States Census Bureau. In the 2011-2012 school year, Carmel Clay Schools was the seventh-largest school district in Indiana and served 15,750 students.

Demographics

Hamilton County overperformed compared to the rest of Indiana in terms of higher education achievement in 2012.
