Carol Bailey
Carol Bailey (Democratic Party) ran for election to the West Virginia House of Delegates to represent District 27. Bailey lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Bailey was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 27 of the West Virginia House of Delegates.[1] She ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2014.[2]

Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. District 27 is represented by three delegates. Incumbents Joe Ellington, Marty Gearheart and John H. Shott were unopposed in the Republican primary. Ellington, Gearheart, and Shott defeated Carol Bailey (D) and Karen White (Mountain) in the general election.[2]
Note: Bailey was not a Democratic primary candidate, but appears on the West Virginia Secretary of State general election candidate list.
