Carol Feinman
Carol Feinman was a judge for Manhattan 1st Municipal Court District of the New York City Civil Court New York County. She assumed office in 2010. She left office on December 31, 2024.
Feinman (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Manhattan 1st Municipal Court District judge of the New York City Civil Court New York County. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Education
Feinman received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from New York University in 1974 and 1979, respectively. She then received her J.D. degree from the Brooklyn Law School in 1977.[1]
Career
Feinman began her career in 1980 as a senior attorney for the New York State Insurance Fund. In 1984, she joined the State of New York Mortgage Agency (SONYMA) as associate counsel. She then worked as an Administrative Law Judge for the New York State Office of Temporary Disability and Assistance from 1985 through 2010. She was elected to the Civil Court in 2010.[1]
