Carol MacKenzie

Carol MacKenzie is a justice of the Suffolk County Supreme Court in the 10th Judicial District of New York. She was elected to this position in 2006.[1][2]
Education
MacKenzie received her B.S. degree from the New York Institute of Technology in 1985 and her J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1988.[1]
Career
MacKenzie began her career in 1988 as an associate of the law firm of Debevoise & Plimpton. In 1990, she left that firm to practice with Shereff, Friedman, Hoffman & Goodman for a short time. Later that year, she became a partner of Pearl & MacKenzie. She worked in this capacity through 1997. She has also taught as an adjunct professor at the Touro Law Center since 1994.
MacKenzie began her judicial career in 1998 when she was appointed to the Suffolk County District Court. She was then elected to the Suffolk County Family Court in 2005. The following year, she became a Supreme Court Justice.[1]
