2012
Tempel filed to run in the 2012 election for South Carolina House of Representatives District 115 but was decertified. She filed and was accepted as a Petition Candidate and was on the ballot for the November 6 general election. Tempel was defeated in the general election[1][2]
Endorsements
After successfully petitioning to get on the ballot, she was endorsed by the South Carolina Building Trades Organization and the South Carolina AFL-CIO.[3]
