LoKan-Moore ran in the 2011 election for New Jersey Senate District 7. She was defeated by Republican incumbent Diane Allen in the primary on June 7, 2011. Democratic candidate Gail Cook ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 8, 2011.[1]
