Caroline Tesche Arkin
Caroline Tesche Arkin is a judge of the Florida 13th Circuit Court. Her current term ends on January 5, 2027.
Tesche Arkin won re-election for judge of the Florida 13th Circuit Court outright after the general election on November 3, 2020, was canceled.
Education
Tesche received her B.A. degree (in political science) from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1982 and her J.D. degree from the Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College in 1987.[1]
Career
Tesche began her career as an intern in the U.S. Senate and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. She then worked as a special assistant to the U.S. Attorney in Bangor, Maine, before moving to Florida, where she became an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County's 11th Judicial Circuit. Later, she joined the Office of the Public Defender in Hillsborough County's 13th Judicial Circuit. She then opened up her own law firm where she dealt with criminal defense, estate planning and contracts cases until she was elected to the circuit court in 2008.[1][2]
