|I Stand for Equality, Sustainability, Justice for All!
I will work for every person and every community in our diverse district.
I’m running for our Rights -
- Human rights, no matter your race, religion, sexual orientation, politics, age or income;
- Reproductive Rights;
- Voting rights;
- Medical Care & Insurance rights;
- Livable Minimum Wage rights;
- Equitably-funded Public Education rights;
- Safe & Just Neighborhood rights.
For 10 years I’ve worked to raise awareness and organize with the Columbus Community Bill of Rights, to give citizens the right to say No to radioactive oil & gas waste dumping in the Columbus Metro Watershed.
For over three years I produced and host GrassRoot Ohio radio/podcast, featuring front-line advocates and activists working on important issues here in Columbus and all around Ohio. I will work for the People and our Planet over industry profit and politics at the Statehouse.
I support open primaries. The democratic process works best when constituents have the opportunity to listen, learn and make their own choice.
I will work for Healthy, Safe Communities - where Your Vote Counts and Your Rights Matter!- I Stand for Equality - Women's Rights (reproductive, pay), LGBTQ & Black, Indigenous, People of Color Rights, quality free public schools preK-University.
- I Stand for Sustainability- Safe water & air quality, expanded Medicare and Medicaid, a livable wage $15+, affordable child care, affordable housing, sustainable energy, food systems & transportion
- I Stand for Justice for All - End mass incarceration, End qualified immunity. No one is Above the law.
Big Industries have targeted state legislators to implement preemptive law, which takes away local control or Home Rule rights from the people living and working in their community. In Ohio, there are preemptive laws about Oil & Gas extraction, production and waste disposal, plastic bag bans, minimum wage increases, assault rifle bans, water withdrawal limits, factory farm restrictions. These preemptive laws most often harm the people and communities who's rights have been taken away by State Preemption.
I will legislate to protect the Water, Air & Soil of all Ohio communities. I will legislate sustainable energy incentives, and stop fossil fuel extraction incentives. Promote regenerative agriculture and legislate against poisons in our Water, Air, Soil and food systems.
I will work to amend the Ohio Constitution to create a non-partisan Redistricting Commission, with no elected officials. This gerrymandering cheats the Ohio people from true representation.
I love this African proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone- If you want to go far, go together!"

A retired working man in his late 60's with diabetes, can't afford to get major dental work done, and the tooth infection impacts his diabetes, but he'll have to do without dental work, because he can't afford it.
