Carolyn Stanford Taylor
Carolyn Stanford Taylor was the Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction. She assumed office on January 1, 2019. She left office on July 5, 2021.

Biography
Carolyn Stanford Taylor earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her career experienced includes working as assistant state superintendent for the Division for Learning Support and as a classroom teacher and principal in the Madison Metropolitan School District.[1]

Taylor is the current Wisconsin superintendent of public instruction. She was first appointed to the position in January 2019.[1] Taylor succeeded former superintendent Tony Evers, who stepped down after winning election as governor of Wisconsin in 2018.
