Carr Darden
Carr L. Darden was a judge on the Indiana Court of Appeals for the Fourth District. He was appointed by Governor Bayh and took office on November 28, 1994. He was retained by voters in 1998 and 2008.[1][2] He retired in July 2012 at the age of 75, the mandatory retirement age for Indiana judges.[3]
Education
Judge Darden served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1959. He received a B.S. degree from the Indiana University School of Business in 1966 and went on to receive his J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 1970.[1]
Career
Judge Darden has served as a Chief Deputy State Public Defender and a presiding judge of the Marion County Superior Court and Marion County Municipal Court.[1]
