Carrie Moore (Republican Party) ran for election to the Texas State Board of Education to represent District 2. She lost in the Republican primary on March 3, 2026.

Biography

Carrie Moore studied at Southwest Texas State University. Her professional experience includes working with Hays County law enforcement as a corrections officer and serving as a health coordinator, physical education teacher, and coach. Moore has also served as a field representative for a U.S. congressman, Nueces County precinct chair, Nueces County Republican Party resolution committee chair for the Republican Party of Texas state convention, district director for the Texas Federation of Republican Women, voter registrar, volunteer notary for the Nueces County GOP, voting clerk, and voting judge. She has been affiliated with Moms for Liberty, Texas 911, and Citizens Defending Freedom.[1]
