Recall supporters
Recall organizers claim that commissioners mishandled issues related to water quality and sewer maintenance. They also cited the commissioners' decision to disband an advisory group, the Bohners Lake Management Committee, that consisted of volunteer members in the district.[3]
Recall opponents
Oldenburg has said that recall organizers are focused on lake issues rather than issues related to sanitary sewer care that affects the entire area. As of 2024, Ballotpedia had not identified a response from Wiskes.[3]
