Servant - I want people to know that I have served in various ways throughout my lifetime. Right now, I feel called to serve my city and her people.
  • Public Safety - If our citizens don't feel safe, then nothing else matters. And, the very people out there trying to protect our families are not getting the respect they deserve. It is important that we respect and support them
  • Access to Homeownership - Providing access to homeownership is one of the ways we can help residents attain generational wealth.
  • Education - This may not fall under the city council purview but it should. Or, at least shared with the county. Education is an "all hands on deck" situation. Its one of the very most, if not the most important ways we can help people get out of poverty, improve the city as a whole, and improve quality of life of our residents.
There are several areas that really need our immediate attention and each of them are intertwined. Transportation, Homeownership, Intergovernmental collaboration, and Public safety all to name a few. This isn't even the exhaustive list. I think the root of all of them can be helped if we better our education. Not only for our children in primary and secondary schools but also for adults. Providing and enriching livers with workforce development skills is important to help attain and maintain livable wages. Therefore, people can be better equip to afford or invest in homeownership and improve family wealth. With improved education, crime will likely lower and we will see safer neighborhoods and more.

My goal is to serve the city by serving its people. That is what city council is suppose to be - a public service. We need to get back to basics and support those in most need
There have been many people that have played significant roles in my life. Without each of them, I wouldn't be who I am today.
Love to learn - whether this is in books or talking to people. I am a fast study and willing to put in the work to research and understand a situation to make the best decision.
Listen to the people and try to work towards the betterment of the most needy as well as pushing the city's economical growth.
A healthier, more balanced city.
I was a babysitter at the age of 12 along with my older sister. My first W-2 job was a summer job working as a waitress in a diner.
I think it depends on the person. All prior experience can be helpful but it can also lead the holders down a specific road that may not be beneficial to the city.
