Carroll Gibson
Carroll Gibson (b. May 26, 1945) is a former Republican member of the Kentucky State Senate, representing District 5 from 2004 to 2017. He served as Senate Majority Whip from 2011 to 2013. Gibson did not seek re-election to the Kentucky State Senate in 2016.
Biography
Gibson earned his B.S. from Western Kentucky University. His professional experience includes working as Clerk for Grayson County Circuit Court.

Gibson won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky State Senate District 5. He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on May 22, 2012, and was unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
2008
On November 4, 2008, Gibson was re-elected to the 5th District Seat in the Kentucky State Senate. He had no opposition.[7] Gibson raised $40,953 for his campaign.[8]
