Carroll O. Switzer (1908-1960) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa.

Switzer received a recess appointment from President Harry Truman on October 21, 1949, to a seat vacated by Charles Almon Dewey; he was nominated on January 5, 1950, but the Senate did not confirm him. However, he continued serving until August 9, 1950. Switzer was succeeded in this position by William F. Riley. Switzer died on May 30, 1960.
