|Askar's life story embodies the American Dream. On his 7th birthday, Casey and his parents came to America, fleeing religious persecution in Iraq, seeking safety, opportunity, and above all - freedom. At 18, Casey knew he had to give back to the country that gave him so much. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps.
In the years that followed, Casey would go on to start, buy, build, and run a massive portfolio of businesses from the ground up. Today, Askar employs thousands of people across the country and is one of the largest franchisees for various multi-national brands, such as Church's Chicken and Dunkin' Donuts.
- Like President Trump, I'm not a career politician. Americans are sick and tired of career legislators that enrich themselves instead of serving the people who elected them. That's why I'm a strong believer in federal term limits.
- As a self-made businessman, I know what it's like to pull yourself up from your bootstraps and start with nothing in your pockets. I will always pursue policies that stimulate the economy, create greater opportunities for working men and women, and allow Americans to keep more money in their pocket.
- I take the security of our country seriously as a former Marine. As a Congressman, I will protect our 2nd Amendment rights, defend our country against foreign threats such as China, and work with President Trump to secure our border.
