Casey Blair

Casey Blair is a judge of the 86th District Court in Texas. He was elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015.[1]

Blair ran for election to the 86th District Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 36.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Raymond Shackelford, Rebecca Calabria and Wade Gent.
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote, Blair faced Gent in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. He won, receiving 58 percent of the vote.
General: He won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014.

Education
Blair received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. from Texas Tech University.[3]
Career
Blair was an attorney in private practice prior to becoming a judge. He has also worked as a prosecutor for the Dallas County District Attorney's office.[4]
