Casey Cox
Casey Cox is a former Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 85 from October 2013 to November 8, 2016. He was defeated in the Republican primary on May 3, 2016.
Cox was first elected to the chamber by a Republican caucus in October 2013 following the death of Phyllis Pond (R) from cancer. He also served on the Indiana University Board of Trustees and the Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission.[1]
Biography
Cox earned his B.S. and J.D. from Indiana University Bloomington. His professional experience includes working as an attorney with the firm of Beers Mallers Backs & Salin.[1]

Elections for the Indiana House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 6, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Incumbent Casey Cox defeated Ken Knoblauch and Denny Worman in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[6][7]

Cox and his wife, Melissa, have two children. He has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Allen County-Fort Wayne Historical Society.[1]
