Casey J. Christian
Casey J. Christian was a Minnesota Third Judicial District judge for Steele County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position in 1990 by Gov. Perpich. He was then elected to full terms in 1992, 1998 and 2004.[1] He retired from the bench on December 31, 2012.[2]
Education
Christian received his B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota in 1972 and his J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1982.[1]
Career
Judge Christian began his legal career in 1982 as an Assistant Steele County Attorney. He worked in this capacity until his judicial appointment in 1990. He also practiced law in the private sector with the firm of Ruth, Schreiner & Christian from 1984 to 1990.[1]
2010 election
Christian was re-elected after running unopposed.[3]
