Iwas born and raised in NH, and has lived her life in Barrington NH. I have been a State Representative since I was 19 years old, when I was first elected. As a Gold Award, lifetime Girl Scout I brings experienced leadership, fairness, open-mindedness, tanacity and forward thinking with me in all I do. I am not afraid to roll up her sleeves and work on behalf of her constituents at the NH State House. Having been a member of the Children and Family law committee for six years I have been working and advocating on behalf of New Hampshire's children and I plan to continue to do so as long as I am able.
  • Our teachers are professionally trained educators who consistently act in the best interest of students while balancing competing pressures and I will continue to support them in any way I can. All students have the right to safe, quality education from early childhood through post-secondary college or career training. I will work on behalf of our children and make sure that they are not hungry in school and I will fight any attempt to arm teachers or militarize schools under the pretense of school safety.
  • All people must have access to affordable, safe, legal, and accessible health care including contraception and abortion care regardless of geography, income, or insurance coverage and free from government interference. I oppose bans on abortion and other measures that add barriers to accessing care as arbitrary and unnessary infringements on individual liberty, freedom and privacy that pose a risk to patient health and wellbeing.
  • New Hampshire is a wonderful place to live but we can make it better for families by having a livable wage, affordable housing, we must adress the homelessness crisis, and protecting workers' right to join a union. We must create employment opportunities for veterans, help them overcome homelessness, substance use disorder and suicide. We will not get where we need to be by inaction or ingnorance. We must see the issue, address the issue, find solutions and move into the future.
We need to protect Women's rights. Today women and girls still face discrimination on the basis of sex and gender. Gender inequality underpins many problems which disproportionately affect women and girls, such as domestic and sexual violence, lower pay, lack of access to education, and inadequate healthcare. and we must continue to fight for equality.

We must stand up for our children's right to full unrestrictited educaiton. I will work on behalf of disabled children so that all children with disabilities will have access to high-quality, inclusive, safe programs that provide individualized and appropriate support so they can fully participate alongside their peers without disabilities and achieve their full potential.
I look up to the women in my family. I admire their steadfastness, the willingness to help others. Their ability to know right from wrong and to fight on the behalf of others. I come from good New England people, who worked hard, stood up for their communities, participated in Goverment, fought for our country and did what they had to do. I am proud to follow my ancesters footsteps.
Honestry, integrity and a willingness to work across the aisle to get things done. People before party.
Persistance, empathy, leadership and the ability to adapt to think not only of the past or current but to think and have the drive to work for a future for all of us.
Putting aside personal agenda's , to realize that we work on behalf of all of our citizens and even though we may not see eye to eye on all issues, we must find common sense solutions.
I hope to be remembered as someone who made a positive impact on the lives of others.
Malala Yousafzai wining the Nobel Peace Prize. Columbine School shooting. The rise of sex trafficking. Women's marches. I
My first job was as a Girl Scout Camp Councilor, I did that for three consecutive summers.
I love books, currently I am reading two books. I am reading the Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien for pleasure and because its an awesome book and The Rose Code by Kate Quinn for a book club.
Belle. I could be reading in the library and the dishes do themselves.
We all have obstacles in our lives, its not the struggle that is important its the fact that no matter what, you have a choice it can be a hurdle or a stepping stone. I constantly work on myself and by overcoming my struggles I launch myself further than I thought I would ever come.
Openess and willingness to work with each other to do what is best for all of NH.
Depending on the experience, it could be beneficial, but it is not necessary.
No. I am not elected because I model myself after someone else. I am elected because of what I bring to the table.
How many optometrists does it take to change a lightbulb?
Is it one or two? One … or two?
I don't think that this is a yes or no question. These decisions are not made lightly. Should there be oversight? Does there need to be? These are very serious questions, that profoundly effect our future and I cannot make a rush decision just to answer this question.
I will work with other's to reintroduce legislation on providing school lunches to children.
NH Young Dems, Emily's List, NH Youth Movement
Children and Family Law, Criminal Justice and Education.
I believe there should absolutely be financial transparency . We build trust by providing accurate and complete information on assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses. When government officials demonstrate accountability and stewardship, it reinforces credibility.

2018

Levesque was featured in an article published by The New York Times following the 2018 election. The article stated that her top priority as a newly-elected legislator was to pass a bill raising the minimum marriage age in New Hampshire to 18. Prior to her election, Levesque had successfully called on the New Hampshire State Legislature to raise the minimum marriage age from 13 for girls and 14 for boys to 16 for all. Her other priorities were to enact a state minimum wage above the federal rate of $7.25 per hour and to encourage youth to move to New Hampshire.[1]

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in New Hampshire

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Click here for an overview of legislative scorecards in all 50 states.  To contribute to the list of New Hampshire scorecards, email suggestions to editor@ballotpedia.org.
