|As mayor, Cassie has prioritized public safety, championed economic growth, and helped Everett gain regional and national recognition. Prior to elected office, Cassie served as CEO of Cocoon House, where she led the organization to national prominence for its work preventing and addressing youth homelessness. She was elected to the Everett City Council in 2015 and served as council vice president in 2017. Cassie holds a bachelor’s degree from Lewis & Clark College and completed graduate-level studies in family systems therapy through a master’s program at the University of Munich in Germany, further strengthening her grounding in mental and behavioral health systems.
Cassie is also a proud mom and long-time Everett resident. She brings both professional expertise and a personal investment in Everett’s future to every decision, working each day to ensure the city is a place where families, businesses, and communities can thrive.- Public Safety: Cassie will continue to lead efforts that make Everett a safer, healthier place for all. Under her leadership, the City has adopted innovative tools and strategies to support first responders, expand behavioral health programs, and ensure greater accountability. Her focus is on creating a community where all residents feel secure and supported.
