Catherine M. DiDomenico
Catherine M. DiDomenico is an acting justice of the Richmond County Supreme Court in the 13th Judicial District of New York. She has also served on the Richmond County Family Court since 2006.[1] DiDomenico was first appointed to the family court by Mayor Michael Bloomberg (R) in 2006. She was reappointed by Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) in 2017.[2]
Education
DiDomenico received her B.A. from Fordham University and her J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to her judicial career, DiDomenico worked as a private practice lawyer, counsel to a U.S. representative, a certified federal and state court mediator, a law clerk to a federal judge, an impartial hearing officer, and an administrative law judge.
DiDomenico was appointed to the New York City Civil Court in 2005. The following year, she was appointed to the Richmond County Family Court.[1]
