Cathleen B. Callahan is a judge of the Columbia County Circuit Court in the 19th Judicial District of Oregon.[1] She was elected on November 4, 2014, to a term that expires on January 3, 2021.[2]

Callahan ran for election to the Oregon Circuit Court, 19th Judicial District.
Primary: She was successful in the primary on May 20, 2014, receiving 36.4 percent of the vote. She competed against Judge Jean Marie Martwick and Jason A. Heym.
General: She defeated Judge Jean Marie Martwick in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 54.2 percent of the vote. [1][3]

Callahan received her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law.[4]

Career

Before her election to the bench, Callahan worked as a sole-practitioner, which she started in 2012. She focused mostly on civil cases in her practice. From 2000 to 2012, she worked in private practice and as a prosecutor for the City of Clatskanie.[4]
