Biography

Cathy Cook served in the United States Air Force from 1979 to 1991. She earned an undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento in 1979. Cook's career experience includes working as an airline pilot. She has served as president with the Mission Oaks Neighborhood Association, and as a member with the Women Veterans Alliance and the Order of Daedalians.[1]

I am a member of Arcade Church and I love walking and biking along the American River Parkway. I care about the future of California and I will fight to keep Our State Safe and Affordable.

  • Inflation: Suspend the gas tax, Reduce regulations on small businesses
  • Reduce Homelessness by focusing on drug addiction and mental illness treatment programs.
California Must Improve K-12 Education! Our Students test scores rank at the bottom of all States in Reading and Math. I support School Choice and vouchers that will empower parents to decide what schools are best for their children. I pledge to serve my community with honesty and integrity.

I lead by example and love a challenge. I'm running for Assembly to represent the mainstream majority in my district. I have lived a life of service to my Country and Community. I will represent my constituents with decisiveness, good judgement, integrity and common sense. I will be a strong advocate to restore checks and balances in the Assembly.
