Cathy Reese is a judge on the Orphans Court of Carroll County in Carroll County, Maryland.[1] Reese ran for re-election to the Orphans Court of Carroll County in 2014, winning a term that expired on December 31, 2018.[2][3]

Reese ran for re-election to the Orphans Court of Carroll County.
Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 24.8 percent of the vote. She competed against John D. Carbaugh, Charles M. Coles, Jr., Samuel V. Greenholtz, and incumbent Judge Dorothy V. Utz. Primary candidates competed for 3 seats. 
General: She faced Charles E. Harrison, Ed Leister, Neil Ridgely, John D. Carbaugh, and incumbent Judge Dorothy V. Utz in the general election on November 4, 2014, and won with 25.1 percent of the vote. Candidates competed for three open seats. [2][4] 

2010

Reese was elected to the Orphans Court of Carroll County along with Dorothy V. Utz and Ron Brewer with 29.35 percent of the vote in the general election on November 2, 2010.[5]

Education

Reese attended Carroll Community College and Villa Julie College (now known as Stevenson University).[6]

Career

Reese is retired as an assistant vice president and trust officer from BB&T Bank (formerly Carroll County Bank and Trust Company).[6]
