I am a healthcare finance and operations executive as well as a mom to two girls. We moved to Kirkland over 20 years ago to raise a family. I was raised in Bothell and graduated from Inglemoor Highschool. I have been witness to the growth and changes that all of the Eastside communities have experienced. I bring years of experience working in healthcare making data driven decisions tied to ROI and outcomes. I would bring this experience to the Kirkland City Council to bring the voice of the residents and small business back to the forefront.
  • While growth is required, we need responsible growth. Our infrastructure must match the increase in residents and businesses. Our systems are already strained, and I will advocate for improved infrastructure.
  • I will bring financial accountability to city spending. Currently our city has spent tax dollars on pet projects that do not benefit the residents or city economy, all will our roads, sidewalks and medians are neglected. I will prioritize spending that will directly benefit the residents and encourage small business development that is central to the culture of Kirkland.
  • Most of us moved to Kirkland for the quiet and relative safety to raise families. Our current Council is facing pressure to expand the failed policies of Seattle. I will make our communities safety one of my top three priorities. I will hold King County to account with permanent supportive housing projects and prioritize supporting our first responders community.
I am passionate about creating policy that translates to tangible solutions that benefit the residents and small businesses. I will listen to the residents of Kirkland.
Transparency and Honesty are most important to me. To many decisions are being made without public input only for the residents to find out after any meaningful input from them would make a difference.
The core responsibilities for elected officials is to make decisions with the best interest of their constituents in mind. They should also listen to those they represent.
