Biography

Caylin Young was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Young attended Baltimore City College and then earned a B.S. in mathematics from Hampton University in 2010 and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2016. His career experience includes working as a math teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools, a legislative assistant for the Maryland House of Delegates, a community outreach coordinator for Maryland Senate President Pro Tem Nathaniel McFadden (D), a legal fellow for U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.), a law clerk in the Office of State's Attorney in Baltimore City, public policy counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Maryland, director of legislative affairs for the City of Baltimore, and director of public policy for the ACLU of Maryland.
