|- It is imperative that Delta Fire Protection District (Delta District) continue to access and offer top level fire service and rescue services to District residents for any and all emergencies occurring within the District as required by a long-standing contract for emergency services.
- The purpose of the Delta District Board is to ensure services are provided to the citizens of the District who rely on them. In order to be able to engage with their District and to be kept informed of the administration of District activities they require full transparency and notice of all meetings in accordance with the requirements of the Brown Act. This requirement has not been fully honored for the past twenty years. Additionally, an annual audit is required by law. Defects identified by the audit should be cured and not carried forward year after year in order to be in full compliance
- Delta District experiences frequent vehicle collisions that are often critical and sometimes fatal. In order to maintain an optimum level of safety and an awareness of concerns on our dangerous roadways Delta District citizens rely on informative communications from law enforcement, CalTrans, California Highway Patrol to ensure safe travel.
