Cecil Wattree
Cecil Wattree was an at-large member of the Hickman Mills C-1 Board of Education in Missouri. He assumed office on April 11, 2019. He left office on April 14, 2022.
Wattree ran for re-election for an at-large seat of the Hickman Mills C-1 Board of Education in Missouri. He lost in the general election on April 5, 2022.
Wattree lost the general election on April 2, 2019, however, following the general election, candidate John Carmichael and school district attorney Chris Gahagan filed an affidavit for Carmichael to be disqualified as a candidate since he had not been a resident of Missouri for at least one year prior to becoming a member, as is required by state statute. A judge allowed the disqualification. Wattree was elected to the board, having received the next most votes after Carmichael.[1]
