Cornwall ran for election to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on April 1, 2014, after receiving 41 percent of the vote. He competed against Laura Gramling Perez.

Education
Cornwall earned his J.D. from the Marquette University Law School.[3]
Career
Cornwall serves as Milwaukee County Judicial Court Commissioner, where he presides over hearings in Children’s Court, Small Claims Court, Intake Court, Preliminary Hearing Court, and Traffic Court.[4] He also works with the Vel R. Phillips Juvenile Justice Center.[3] Cornwall previously served as the Manager for the City of Milwaukee Equal Rights Commission and in the Trial Division of the Office of the Wisconsin State Public Defender.[4] He was also a partner in the Law Offices of Cornwall, Rhiel, and Yamahiro as well as partner of a small private firm he founded in 1999.[3]
