I’m a Christian father who happens to have been a 2018 Texas Gubernatorial Candidate, a Desert Storm Veteran, former Mayor, Police Chief (Ret.), Educator, and Entrepreneur. I’m currently employed as a certified public manager, I have served my country and community since age 17, I have served on many public boards and commissions. I believe in fighting for the humanitarian rights of others regardless of their societal status.
  • I strongly support the revitalization of rural and low income communities infrastructures, to include the implementation of high-speed internet fiber, and the fixing of the Texas electrical grid problems.
  • I strongly support the acceptance of Medicare/Medicare to help improve access to medical care and services to rural and or low income communities of Texas.
  • I strongly support the improvement of economic development and educational opportunities for rural and low income communities of Texas.
As a certified public manager, I enjoy working in and assisting in the public policy development areas of infrastructure revitalization, economic development, education, and healthcare reform.
An elected official should have integrity, honesty, the ability to listen, be accessible, and be an independent thinker.
Integrity to public service a great listener and very accessible.
A core responsibility is to have integrity, honesty, the ability to listen, be accessible, and be an independent thinker with the ability to support those things that are beneficial for your constituents over self.
The Bible, because it’s a blue print for living
Seeing the humanitarian struggles of society
Having all parties being able to have an open mind, communicate, and being able to find a common factor to create successful and beneficial public policies for the betterment of most Texans.
In my opinion, I don’t find a unicameral state legislative system to be beneficial for Texans.
I find it very beneficial for state legislatures to have had previous experience in public policy and in a public servant leadership role.
I believe it is beneficial to have all parties to be able to have open and creative dialogue, in order to find a common factors to successful legislative relationships for the betterment of creating better public policies.
I believe in fairly applying the proper mathematical calculations using current census data to draw redistricting map boundaries.
Yes, open mindedness, communication, and compromise is the key to successful public policies.
