I was born and raised in ward 11. I was born and raised in Church, and in the hard streets of Comstock, and Taylor. At the age of 16 i lost all function in my kidneys and began dialysis. Dealing with gaslighting from the medical field and the streets plus the church at times drove me to a place of hopelessness. I knew Jesus was real all my life, but just could never come to terms of why would a loving God allow me to go through such hard times? As life progressed. I came to a realization that most people don't want to hear solutions from a person who has not been through. What they have been through. Dealing with so many different pains in life brought me to a place of total surrender to God's Will for my life. Through Jesus Christ. Everything wasn't prefect, but the traction i began to receive was amazing. I finally had the heart and mind to fight back a system that had been destroying me from every angle since a child. The love of Jesus change me in a way to help those who are in need, and actually feel exactly what they have experienced so i know exactly how to help. Same mentality in my race. I know many solutions to the issues that we face in my community.
