I am a nurse practitioner, wife, mother, and community servant. I graduated from Southern Nazarene University and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I am running for Congress because I believe no one should go broke because they get sick. I live just outside of Bella Vista with my husband, four children, chickens, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, 2 peacocks, 3 ducks, 2 rabbits, and a bearded dragon.
  • I'll take our public health crisis seriously and make healthcare more affordable.
  • Regular working people like me should have a voice at the table where decisions are made.
  • I'll never vote to cut Social Security or Medicare. You earn it - you keep it.
After more than 20 years as a nurse, I've realized there are some things I can't fix in the exam room. I want a world where we can all succeed, where getting sick doesn't mean you go broke, where our children have a world class education, and we restore dignity to workers. The corruption and gridlock in Washington prevents us from making progress on these issues. If we want real solutions, we need to elect new people - people who won't put party ahead of country or winning ahead of doing what's right. The pandemic has exposed the glaring inequities in our system. We need leaders who follow science, listen to families, and are willing to work with their colleagues to bring real solutions to the American people.
