A Centinela Valley Union High School District bond proposition, Measure CV was on the November 2, 2010 ballot for voters in the Centinela Union High School District in Los Angeles County. It was approved.
Measure CV allowed the school board of the Centinela Valley Union High School District to borrow $98 million. The money was designed to be spent to "repair, acquire, and construct local schools, sites, and facilities, including libraries, classrooms, science labs, and academic academies; and replace aging plumbing, heating, electrical, and school security systems."
The Measure CV of November 2010 came two years after the Centinela Valley Measure CV of November 2008, which was also for $98 million and which was also approved.
A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for approval.

The question on the ballot:
Measure CV: To protect students from earthquakes; remove asbestos, lead paint, and other safety hazards from schools; and improve learning and academic achievement, shall the Centinela Valley Union High School District issue $98,000,000 in bonds, at legal rates, to repair, acquire, and construct local schools, sites, and facilities, including libraries, classrooms, science labs, and academic academies; and replace aging plumbing, heating, electrical, and school security systems; with mandatory audits, independent citizen oversight, no money for administrator salaries, and all funds staying local?[1] |
