A Central Jackson County Fire Protection District Tax Levy ballot question was approved on the August 6, 2013, election ballot in Jackson County, which is in Missouri.

This measure authorized the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District to impose an additional property tax levy of $0.05 per $100 of assessed property value per year for three years.[1]

Question on the ballot:

Shall the Board of Directors of the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District be

authorized to provide emergency ambulance service within the District and be authorized to levy an additional tax of not more than $0.15 on the $100 assessed valuation to provide funds for such service, $0.05 of which would be levied for the year 2013, and $0.05 of which would be levied for the year 2014, and the final $0.05 of which would be levied for the year 2015?[2][3]
