A Central Kitsap School District Levy Increase measure was on the February 14, 2012 ballot in the Central Kitsap school district area which is in Kitsap County.
This measure was approved
- YES 7,745 (50.14%)

- NO 7,703 (49.86%)[1]
This measure sought to increase the current school levy by a rate of $.62 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of two years and would go towards ensuring there is not a budget deficit in the school district. School officials noted that they anticipate further cuts from State sources and saw this addition as the best way to ensure programs and services in the district are continued without cutbacks. The district had also applied for impact aid, given to a handful of districts in the US with a large military related population, and if the aid is given and the tax is approved a rebate could be offered for the tax addition.[2]
