This measure sought to add to the current park district levy at a rate of $.25 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a period of six years in order to help pay for maintenance and operational costs of the recreational facilities in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| For maintenance and operations of recreational facilities, including a swimming pool, shall the Central Klickitat County Park and Recreation District Levy an additional regular property tax, equal to 25¢ per $1,000 of assessed valuation, for six years commencing in 2012 for collection in the years 2012 through 2017, as provided in District Resolution 2011-01.[3] |
