Cesar C. Sarmiento was a judge for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Pete Wilson in 1993.[1] [2] Sarmiento retired from the bench on November 26, 2014.[3]

Education

Sarmiento received his bachelor's degree from California State University at Northridge and his J.D. degree from the University of California, Davis in 1980.[1]

Sarmiento ran for re-election to the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Sarmiento was automatically re-elected.[4]
