Chad D. Hays
Chad D. Hays is a former Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 104 from 2011 to 2018. Hays resigned from the legislature on September 7, 2018, to become executive director of Crosspoint Human Services.[1] He served as assistant minority leader from 2013 to 2018.
Biography
Hays graduated from Danville Area Community College in 1983 and from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1986. His professional experience includes working as serving as Vice President of Provena United Samaritans Medical Center/Foundation and Director of Planning and Development at Danville Polyclinic.[2]

Elections for the Illinois House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on March 18, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Incumbent Chad D. Hays ran unopposed in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[9][10][11]
2012
Hays won re-election in the 2012 election for Illinois House of Representatives District 104. Hays was unopposed in the March 20 Republican primary and defeated Michael Langendorf (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[12][13][14]
2010
Hays defeated Democrat Michael Puhr in the state's November 2, 2010, general election.[15]
